I'm sure everyone has been enjoying the cold weather here in Southern California. I wanted to take advantage of my day off and stroll around outside, and do a little shopping. I ate an early lunch by Old town, and walked over to Lemonade for dessert.

I always love coming to Lemonade. I love the food and of course the Lemonade itself. I came here a good amount of times during the summer. But for the winter, I do adore a good dessert with hot coffee or tea. My favorite go to sweets, is the giant Macarons they offer.


I stuck with the Pistachio Macaron as it is my all-time favorite, and had a little taste of the Caramel. These macaron's are so big that I only eat half of it, and save the rest for later when I'm home. I hope you all had a great sweet Friday! xo

Yesterday after having afternoon tea. The weather was just absolutely perfect, a little breeze, sunny, but a little chilly. We walked around the little downtown area in Montrose, and stumbled upon various Antique shoppes. We spent the most amount of time at one called The Antique Store.

I instantly was interested and incredibly intrigued with all the wood pieces & table tops. I adore Antique furniture as the construction of a piece was built differently, more carefully, and the wood was completely solid unlike the pieces we have now, mostly mass produced. I can go on and on but I'll stop here... (You can blame my work for this ha)


I was automatically drawn to all the tea cups, and tea pots. My face was glowing every time I came across a set, or cup and saucer. I loved the gold detailing on the tea cup above. By now, everyone knows that I adore the traditional sense of English High Tea. I love that all the tearooms, and shoppe's I go to are all English inspired. I can't wait to come back here, and see what other goodies they have!

I took a little mini vacation and took the weekend off. To my advantage, each day was filled with prepping, crafting, coffee/lunch dates. Not to mention, the only time I had to rest or catch up was yesterday. 

A dear cousin of mine came into LA to visit from Virginia. It's been years since i've seen her. I thought a simple trip to Downtown was called for. We went to Urth before noon, and indulge in a healthy lunch, and ending it with a rich tiramisu with chocolate shavings.

This week has been busy, as I've been crafting non-stop for two major projects. One of them happens to be my little Nephew's birthday. A theme'd party will be taking place this weekend, and I want to make sure that all the decorating details, are covered and well taken care of!


One quick-easy thing I always go to is bunting. I feel like it's so simple, but does the trick! Plus, it's perfect for a kids party. I've had all the materials on hand. Happy tape, bakers twine, card stock, and construction paper.


I wanted to save some space. So instead of laying all the bunting goodies on my table, I decided to hang them up in my room. Oh boy, my space looked like a toddlers room! It did look extremely nice, maybe i'll consider doing one for my space. Of course, using different colors!

Can't wait to have all this come to life this weekend!

Today's day off was delightful. I headed over to Venice to meet with my colleague/friend. I have been working with her this past week on her wedding invitations. We wanted to finalize everything today, but wanted to enjoy a nice lunch at Abbot Kinney.


We had reservations at a Wine Bistro. I tried white sangria for the first time, in which I fell in love with! I also had a three course meal, which started of with a cheddar broccoli soup, and ended with bread pudding for dessert. For the main course, I had their paella. It doesn't look big at all, but trust me it was more than enough, and filled me up. After lunch, we went around Venice & Santa Monica going over wedding details, and putting together the invitations. It was nice spending the day out by the beach. Can't wait to do it again next week! xoxo

Sunday brunch has been the routine, as of late. I was looking forward to yesterday especially since I made reservations to have brunch at the Hollywood Roosevelt. I have gotten this brunch as a Christmas Gift. So I've been looking forward to this since then!

As warm as our days have been, the mornings are still in winter mode (for us in Southern California). Every morning, I crave to just stay in bed. Work from bed, and even eat in bed. One day off, I did exactly as that.


I declared a lazy day, and made breakfast and fully enjoyed my first-meal-of-the-day in bed. It was quite cozy and comfortable. Not to mention how I wish every morning could be this way. I recall staying in bed until the early afternoon. Eating breakfast, watching movies, and working from bed. Maybe i'll try to incorporate this in once a week! It's still a new year, and resolutions still stand!

I've never got quite over the fact that the Holidays are over. Since i've been shopping around, I see all of the Christmas goodies tremendously priced low, and all the Valentines decor ready to be bought. One of my many resolutions this year, is to get everything done in a timely matter. With that being said, I got ahead and started off my Valentines Day Crafting.


I was heavily inspired with a few things I saw in Paper Source. I saw these Multicolored Hearts paper and knew I had to incorporate it. I bought these doilies from Michaels which are always a must, regardless was size and color!

I made two versions of handmade Valentines goodies this year. One a little more traditional, and the other more color and playful. I can't wait to share the entire Valentines I created when February rolls around. In the meantime, more crafting for Valentines and Birthdays!

Ladies, admit it. There's something about Sundays & Brunch that flows perfectly together. Personally, Sundays are my favorite day of the week. The calmness and quietness that it provides in the morning as everyone is asleep and fully resting without a certain time to wake. It was gloomy yesterday, but I just wanted to embrace the gloom, since it's been warm here, I wanted to have a lovely meal outside with a close girlfriend xo.


As you all may know already, I'm a sucker for cups and saucers. I loved the simplicity of the black rim in these cups they served with Coffee. It instantly had inspired me to look for similar onea, but in Navy Blue. I'm thinking maybe Sur La Table will have a set!


Crepes are my absolute go-to. I can thank my mother for that as she introduce me to Crepe's when I was younger. I had a spinach, cheese, mushroom, and tomato crepe, with fresh fruit. It was amazing, and portion was perfection. I'm already anticipating for this coming Sunday's brunch. I'm going to try my best to make tea or brunch a weekly ritual. Join me!

Time has passed by so quickly. It has been incredibly busy since the Holidays: work, friends, family, crafting, giving, celebrating etc etc. Apologies yet again on the lack of posts. One resolution I do plan to keep is to maintain the things I personally love- reading, crafting, writing, riding, and blogging.


This was taken on New Years Eve beachside in Venice close by to where I work. It's been a rocky New Year, but I have no doubt that things will turn around. I've like to make the assumption that it's growth since all the negativity is quickly changed in to a gaining experience, and a step closer to growth and being more comfortable with myself. I hope you all are going forth with your resolutions, it's still the beginning!
