happy friday

Today's day off was delightful. I headed over to Venice to meet with my colleague/friend. I have been working with her this past week on her wedding invitations. We wanted to finalize everything today, but wanted to enjoy a nice lunch at Abbot Kinney.

We had reservations at a Wine Bistro. I tried white sangria for the first time, in which I fell in love with! I also had a three course meal, which started of with a cheddar broccoli soup, and ended with bread pudding for dessert. For the main course, I had their paella. It doesn't look big at all, but trust me it was more than enough, and filled me up. After lunch, we went around Venice & Santa Monica going over wedding details, and putting together the invitations. It was nice spending the day out by the beach. Can't wait to do it again next week! xoxo
