empty kitchen equals baking.

One morning I woke up early on my day off to an empty house. I went straight to the fridge to bring out eggs, butter, etc and decided to do some baking! I can't remember when was the last time I baked leisurely. As folks were coming over for dinner later that day, I thought my signature chocolate chip cookies would be perfect for dessert!

After baking the cookies, I went on an errand and picked up a tub of Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. We had a delicious home made italian dinner, followed by me serving the cookies and Vanilla bean. I made sure to serve the cookies warm with the ice cream. It was such a success! I hope I can get back into the habit of baking weekly. Until next time!
