October 05, 2014As it's still Summer here in Southern California, I spent last weekend at the LA County Fair. It was the last weekend before closing up, and surprisingly it sprinkled a little. Rain is far from us now, as it's 100 degrees as i'm typing this. It was my first time going to LACF. Next year I would plan to go on a week day as it's less people and more room to roam and run around. I was surprised with how huge it was compared to OC fair. Here are a few stills from last Saturday:
One of the few things I love getting is their lemonade. This time around I did get a regular lemonade but also tried their spiked lemonade that comes in a cocktail shaker. I had their shredded tri-tip waffle fries (SO GOOD), and their blooming onion (shown above). It was a great way to end the rightful meaning of Summer, even if it is scorching here still!
