happy friday: mel bell's birthday

Happy Friday darlings!
The weekend is upon us.  Thankfully I have today off to run errands and get the little details done for this weekend.  It doesn't help that it's raining here and we had a few harsh thunder/heavy rain hit us last night which is something us Californians are not used to.  Rain or shine there's always room for celebrating and birthdays.  This week, was Mel Bell's birthday.  She's currently prepping for a show she's been training for, so good luck Mel!  I couldn't help but craft her "circus theme" things to surprise her with at work -

I wanted to keep the theme Blue and Red, I gathered things that I've had on hand and finally put the little chalkboard coasters to use!  It was actually my first time cutting washi tape to have a "bunting" effect on the circus cardstock.  Maybe I should cut more washi tape instead of ripping it or cutting it straight to seal things!  Mel was surprised and it was such a simple heartfelt thing to craft up!
