weekend endings: desserts & mimosas

I hope everyone had a great sunny weekend.  This weekend was spent catching up with an old friend, who recently moved here from Nevada along with endless mimosas.  It started and ended with a sweet tooth.  I used my Sunday for catching up on laundry and last minute shopping for New York.  Here's a little recap from this past weekend -

A raspberry le grand macaron.  I paired this goodie up with a mint tea from Tazo, I also was thinking of brewing iced tea with it but it couldn't wait I gobbled that goodie up quickly!  Thanks Kita!

My first initial plan for brunch was to head to LA, but since I was running late on time I thought Old Town Monrovia would do.  The Peach Cafe is a quick go to!  My favorite is their french toast, but I wanted to try something different this time and went for one of my favorite breakfast dish the monte cristo sandwich.  I loved the bread as it had a crepe texture around it.  I was stuffed by only eating half!  Until {brunch} next time!
