late afternoon tea.

I've been craving for fall to come just so I can bring out a cup and saucer and have tea.  With the heatwave that just passed iced tea has been sipped more than regular tea  Since this week is a little cooler I decided to have a relaxing Monday evening.  The late afternoon/early evening included the bright summer sunset in the sweetest pallet, Frank Sinatra in the background, and one of my favored sets.  I'm such a sucker for any gold lining/accent especially on a teacup.

I didn't have much sweets around, so I went to my go-to waffle crisps in Vanilla and Strawberry.  I paired the cookies with a vanilla tea which smelled incredible and used one of my classic teapots.  An afternoon at a tearoom has been long overdue, hoping to make a reservation for this long weekend!  Care to join?
