8th birthday tea party invitations

March 15, 2016

A dear co-worker of mine, asked me to quickly put together birthday invitations for her daughter's 8th Birthday Party.  I asked what the theme of her daughters birthday party would be and she said "Tea Party!".  For the invitations she just requested them to be simple and I can put them together any way I'd like.  So I gathered all the materials I already had on hand so I just cut, stamped, and taped away!

I knew I had to incorporate florals and have a pastel color, pink would do it so I kept it as one color scheme.  The teapot stamp was a Christmas Gift from my cousin a few years ago, and I had bought the "Put on the kettle" stamp from Paper Source.  The pink card stock came in a color pack from Daiso Japan, and the fabric tape was from the Dollar Tree.  With my signature knot in the front, I put them all together in wooden clothes pin and delivered it over to the birthday girls mother.  The mother loved the cards and it all flowed together as the tea party was florals and all pink!

Have I mentioned that I just ordered custom invitations for my golden birthday tea in a few months?  Yes, the planning has begun!
