weekend endings: rainy afternoon tea

What a perfect weekend to spend out about in the light sunlight and gloom.  Friday I had the day off work to get a few things in order, and I also had reservations for 1pm at Chado Hollywood.  My cousin D had only been to the one in Downtown LA so with getting things done at a reasonable time, we headed over to Hollywood (with not much traffic!).  She had a fruity green tea, as I had a Podera black tea.  

During tea, we discussed my golden birthday coming up and her graduating/birthday is all in the same month.  I love getting together with loved ones catching up, and conversing what's to come in the future while cutting open freshly baked scones while spreading homemade whip, and marmalade with fresh cut strawberries.  I promise you, I don't go to tea rooms every week!  Only once a month ;)
