dallas farmers market.

April 22, 2016

I spent a little over a week in Dallas by myself.  I was excited to come here as M spent middle school, high school, and college in Texas.  The things on my list for Dallas, was the farmers market, explore downtown, visit the art museum, and shop at the first Neiman Marcus flagship.  I managed to get everything off the list, but I would definitely want to come back here with M to explore more, and possibly go to Marfa and Austin.

On a gloomy morning, I grabbed my scarf and took a little stroll to the farmers market.  I made sure I came with a growling stomach. At the time that I went they were doing some renovations, but thankfully it didn't stop vendors from being open.  Before making any decision I went through the whole market to see where I wanted to eat for a late lunch and grab something for dessert.

Along the way I managed to stop by Abbundantly Aromatic and picked up a handmade soap and a lavender shea butter cream that did not disappoint! For lunch I chose tex-mex Taqueria La Ventara and had a little carne bowl it was so delicious and the sauce was amazing!  For dessert I had freshly baked beignets from CT.  Since the renovations are now completed, I would want to go back and try Chelle's macarons!
