merry un-birthday tea 2015.

Every year for my birthday tea, is always held at a different tea room.  Last year's birthday celebration took place in a lovely little town called Montrose.  My cousin actually took me here prior and I fell in love with the outdoor area of the tea room.  I instantly made reservations months in advance and crossed my fingers that the rain wouldn't arrive that day.  Along with the little gifts to take home, we had sandwiches, scones, dessert, and not to mention endless glasses of Peach Champagne.  Bubbly at a tea room is never a bad thing!

My girlfriends surprised me with a fresh red rose crown to wear, which matched perfectly with my dress. Along with the little gifts I provided little white and gold fans just in case if it gets too warm out in the patio of the tea room.  For my cake, I usually request for a frosted cake vs. fondant.  I chose a flavor very similar to tiramisu, which was a hit!  After tea, we went to my cousins house and lounged poolside it was such a perfect day.  I can't wait to share with you this year's tea that I threw a few weeks ago.
