vignettes at home.

This week has been a bit slow, but i'm glad it's coming to an end.  As the heat wave approaches i'll be spending time at home catching up (here) and staying cool.  What are your plans this weekend?  If you follow me on my personal instagram you've seen little snipets of my home with M. I wanted to share a few with you here along with the places I've gotten my little trinkets from -

Moving in with M was a big deal and an adjustment.  Before moving, I lived in my little loft-room I had hues of light blue and yellow along with coral.  When it came to decorating our space, I became cautious with bright colors and pattern.  I stuck with neutrals, burgundy, and indigo blues.  As for patterns I eliminated floral prints and went with tribal.  I added accents of white and antique brass.  I even worked on a project and made custom prints above the sofa.  Before purchasing or bringing anything home, I made sure M approved.  So far so good, our next project is our patio and drapes!
