happy valentines day.

How was your Tuesday?  I spent Valentines working and after work, I touched up my makeup and M took me to our favorite local bistro and had their prix fixe menu that evening.  Afterwards I was spoiled with my favorite almond croissant & cakes (as I have such a sweet tooth!).  As for gifts, M took care of my travels for early March which was really sweet and treated me to a lovely evening.   I gave M a few soft washed button ups to wear for Spring among other treats ;).  It was very lowkey and I wouldn't have it any other way this year :).

This year for Valentines Day cards I wanted to crafted two simple styles sealed them with a kiss and stamped it away in a vintage floral forever postage stamp.  I swear I can snail mail all day if I could!

In all rae&ella fashion, I had to incorporate doilies.  I bought a few packs in the dollar section in target that's always useful for other handmade projects ;).  I'll also be sharing the place cards and invitations I made for a bride to be that also had doilies.   All the hearts you see above are from a pack I bought over 6 years ago that I use every year.  Most of the washi tape is from Daiso, and cardstock was from Michaels.
