snail mail mondays: halloween cards

October 30, 2017

Hope you all had a great pre-Halloween weekend.  I spent this weekend finishing up crafting, and took photos of the festive decor I had at home that i'll be sharing later this week.  As I mentioned in my previous post - I've been feeling more goolish and decided to craft with monsters and spooky eyes.  I laid my eyes on a text with a few sayings and decide to go off of that for my Halloween cards.

Timing is everything so I made sure to get them done early this month so I can mail them out to loved ones so they can receive a little treat before they trick or treat on Tuesday!

I try to craft as much black and orange as I can for Halloween as I rarely use orange except for Fall and this frightful month.  So I try my best to incorporate orange as much as I can, with the help of washi tape!  As for little treats, one of my favorite treats are the Caramel Apple pops.  I bought a whole box and I thought it would pair perfectly with the Halloween cards.

I'll passing these little goodies together to my friends, co-workers and their little monsters.  I mailed out a few of these little boo-tastic notes to M's little nephew, as well as my little nephews and nieces who are learning to read so I made sure to write a sweet, and simple scary-love note. XO
