wednesday wrappings & crafting.

October 11, 2017

Along with snail mail Mondays, I decided to add in Wednesday Wrappings (& crafting!).  Although lately it's hasn't been a routine, I managed to squeeze in some gift wrapping and card making.  I wrapped up a belated gift for my best friend.  She had pointed out to me months before which glassware collection she liked at my work.  When her birthday was coming up we scheduled a belated birthday brunch together that included bottomless mimosas, because of course we brunch so hard!

I've picked up this wrapping paper at Target not too long ago, and the thick yarn was in a gift bag giveaway I got at craftcation. Incorporating both was perfect as pink is one of her favorite colors!  The card was very simple to put together as I have a box of cut outs and lovely (useful) scraps from my cricut machine.  I added some gold sharpie polka dots to compliment the pattern on the wrapping paper and viola! Putting both the gift and card together- gave it a pink-retro look which is so my best friends taste/style!

As you can see above, there was two boxes.  I couldn't just gift my best friend a pack of glassware, I wanted to compliment the highballs with a serving piece, but keep within the theme.  One of my favorite collections at work is the Claire collection so I had to add in a pitcher to her gift.  I think both glass pieces will look perfect in her newly renovated kitchen.  There will be plenty of sangria's and fresh juice pouring from the pitcher to the glasses!  Cheers!!!
