valentines day cards part 1: for kids

February 12, 2018

Since I've been MIA from the beginning of this year, I had to make a point to share my Valentines Day Crafting with you all!  Unfortunately I didn't have enough time this year to snail mail Vday cards in time.  But i'll be sure to be more on it come Easter!  This week is exceptionally busy,  I'm still playing catch-up at work from last week, M's brother from Texas is visiting, along with prepping for Valentines day, and going out of town.  Oh! it just get's busier by the minute.

I made sure this past weekend to finish up Valentines Day crafting and this week everyday until Valentines i'll be sharing the different styles that I made for all the loved ones in my life (and yours too!).  Today I put together quick and cute little cards for kids, this was inspired by my god daughters and of course the use of simple words that we use daily via text. LOL!

After Christmas is when I usually do my Valentines shopping. I found different hues of red card stock with envelopes pack for $5.00.  The heart felt stickers I found in the dollar section at target.  The red twine I've had for years from Paper Source.  I kept it simple, and everything cost around $7.00.  I'll be adding little cupcakes or little headbands with these Valentines day cards to give to my god daughters, younger cousins, and co-worker's kids!

What heart day ideas/crafts do you have for kids?
