happy easter everybunny!

April 01, 2018

Hope everyone had a great weekend with loved ones!  I was a little late this year in sending my Easter snail mail, but not to worry I did craft my bunny cards ahead of time and gave some Easter goodies to my sweet swans in person!  M and I filled up a huge egg for his nephew to open,  and I spent yesterday celebrating with my entire family.  Today was very lowkey, M and I caught up on Empire and had a little BBQ, which i'm still drooling over!

When crafting up Easter cards this year, I used a similar bunny from Oh Happy Day, and you can see how I did it I crafted with it differently before in a 2014 post here.  I wanted to make a girly one and a version that would be settle for baby boys.  Since it's Spring, using pastel's are always a go to while putting together little vintage paper good along with little gold accents and vintage patterned washi tape.

To make some of the cards a little more personal, I did stamp the first initial of the person, to make it more custom and personal <3.  I had extra bunnies left and decided to make very simple Easter tags for baskets or eggs, but made sure to tie the bows big and dramatic.  It came out perfectly and writing the name on the bottom of bunny on the tag and adding in a wooden clothes pin to attach was the perfect finishing touch!

How do you darlings do your Easter baskets?
Send them on over, I would love to see!!
