yearly pumpkin patchin'

October 30, 2018

So much to catch up on, but it's all great news and new adventures.  Since September i've traveled to United Kingdom, visited France for the 2nd time, all the while starting a new job, and trying my hardest to celebrate the victories and keep life afloat and balanced! Not to mention, I just took a quick trip to Las Vegas this past weekend! We're finally reaching that time of year, where all is festive and the air is filled with pine cones, pumpkin pie, and peppermint!  This gets me so excited!

For the past 2 weeks i've been seeing a lot of posts of friends going to different Pumpkin Patch's with their kids (yes, i'm at that age).  Since i'm kidless and dog-less (puppy will come one day).  There is only 1 pumpkin patch I go to now, and you'll see why in the photos below -

The Live Oak pumpkin patch!  I've been coming here for over 6 years.  I came across this local gem on my way to Palm Springs with my parents when I was a teenager.  I would see the small hills and farmland filled with locally grown Pumpkins!  The past 2 years i've brought M along when we would go right when it opens beating the late morning and afternoon crowds.  I think it'll probably be a little tradition that we'll do around this time of year.  I love that the pumpkin patch is not in a parking lot, or college campus, it's on an actual field that includes a corn maze, sun flower maze, food booths, game booths, and kid rides, it's literally a little fair!

See my posts from previous years: part one and part two.

If the Live Oak pumpkin patch is too far I would highly recommend PA's Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach.  I went a few years ago and loved how it wasn't small and there was a great selection of Pumpkin's to chose from.  Click here to see my post from a few years ago.

Which pumpkin patch did you go to this year??
