the number 4.

November 09, 2018

In my relationship with M, the number 4 seems to make it's way and often appear.  This year with M is our 4 year anniversary.  We are 4 years, 4 hours apart, and both born on the 4th month of the year {April}.  I guess the older we get, the faster time flies. It's been 4 years..  Trust me when I say this that i'm not a woman who expects a ring or any sort of relation to marriage just because it's been 4 years. As mentioned numerous times before I am in nooo rush, M understands my drive and focus to exceed myself in my career and the things i'm passionate about.

Though, there's no rush and there's still plenty of growth and learning about one another as we have the past 4 years. I'm still as much in love as I am with him when we first said I love you in 2014, kisses on the forehead and noses have never lessened, and I still catch M, lost in a stare with me randomly when we're at restaurants or out in public.  I'm forever grateful for this man, and I made sure he knew that and felt that every single second this past weekend when we celebrated our anniversary..

M is a very nature/hiking/camping person and I am the complete opposite but I'm learning to try new things, explore, and go on endless adventures with him.  Last month when planning this anniversary trip I thought it would be the perfect time to go up to the mountains to Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, and Rimforest.  We agreed a cabin, hiking trails, and a fireplace would be perfect that's exactly what we did! (which i'll be sharing in another post)

I know I sound like a broken record, but no relationship is perfect.  Fights and arguments happen, but I think the most valuable thing during bad times is to give space when needed, and communicate when both calm.  It's so easy for both of us to just go at it, again, we are both TAURUSES! lol Nonetheless, i'll always keep giving M the world and will never stop catering, loving, cooking, and making him feel king, because he truly is one in my book and of my heart. (so cheesy but true).

Happy Anniversary to my forever love. XO
