Hope you all had a great weekend with your mommas, grandmas and all!
This week is all about adding the finishing touches as my annual merry unbirthday tea is upon us! I'm so thankful that I have a group of gals that I have tea with every year, and gals I keep in touch with no matter how long or how far they are. One morning this past weekend I met up with an old friend who I worked with nearly 10 years ago! She found this cute little gem called Mary Lane Cafe and insisted we have breakfast there as she said it was just my style . When I looked it up, I instantly fell in love with all the antiques and it's vintage decor!
This place can seriously be mistaken for as a tea room. I love it's cottage feel and it used to be a drive thru Alta Dena milk shop in its past time. The owner was incredibly sweet and boy can she make a sweet cake! They only serve breakfast and lunch but it's well worth the visit. I was craving something sweet that morning so their French Toast did the trick, and coffee was strong just the way I like it! I am definitely going to go back to eat and shop for little gifts and trinkets.
