a summer weekend in san buenaventura.

Even though kids are going back to school already, SUMMER isn't over just yet!   Summer hours are still in full effect at work, and it's still sunny and warm out here in southern California. Even though work has consumed me, I still find time to take in the dry heat and go out and venture.  Here's a time when M and I explored Ventura and came across San Buenaventura beach, I loved how it had the mix of "forest" and beach combined!

Since it gets hot about noon, we made sure to go in the morning.  I loved looking at the trees, fields of succulents and flowers right before hitting the ocean on my left hand side, and on my right I loved looking at the homes especially the Victorian homes like the one bannana & hammocks lives in ;)

All adventures this summer have been more local than going out of state or out of the country.  I'll be sharing more soon before summer ends.
